Fun Run & Walk

Kick off our Independence Day celebrations with a jog or stroll in the great outdoors.

Dig out something red, white or blue to wear, limber up and set off from the Club’s main first-floor entrance for Shiba Park and back.

Adults and children welcome (ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent).

9–10am | Free (includes one bottle of water) | Club entrance (1F)

Opening Ceremony

It wouldn’t be Independence Day without a little pomp and fanfare.

With music performed by the US Air Force Band of the Pacific’s Final Approach, the day’s proceedings begin with a flag-raising ceremony, the arrival of a US military color guard and anthems.

10:30–11am | Free | Club entrance (1F)

Bouncy Castle Fun & Crafts

Club kids head to the Gymnasium for some inflatable thrills and craft-making fun.

While the kids bounce, moms and dads can relax with complimentary mini-massages provided by The Spa.

Kids are welcome to drop by to burn off energy throughout the day.

10:30am–12:30pm & 1:30–4pm | Free | Gymnasium (2F)

Bowling Tournament

Nothing says America like bowling, so why not compete for prizes and Club bragging rights in this Independence Day competition?

With a limit of 12 teams (but no limit on the number of players), each outfit will complete two games in the first round. The lucky winners will proceed to the second round, where they will play one game for a chance to make it to the final.

But only one team can be crowned winners.

12–2:30pm | Free | Bowling Center (1F)

Games & Entertainment

Roll up, roll up for carnival games, live music and street performers at the outdoor festival space in front of the Club.

With stand-up comedian Jon Sabay as emcee for the day, music on the main stage from the Memories Quartet and the US Air Force Band of the Pacific’s Final Approach, as well as games, a dunk-tank, crafts, face painting and street performers including balloon artists, jugglers, stilt walkers and more, there will plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

11am–4pm | Free | Club entrance (1F)

Food Truck Park

Snack on an array of American classics from our four-wheeled vendors in front of the Club.

The tasty lineup includes hot dogs, pulled pork burgers, Texas BBQ, candy apples, ice cream, shaved ice and more.

And for those looking to enjoy a brew or two, West Coast Brewing will be serving at our Beer Garden through 8pm.

11am–4pm | Club entrance (1F)

Food Truck Payment

All food trucks will accept cash and cashless payments.

Magic Show

Mr Magicio takes to the main stage for a display of astonishing tricks, sleight of hand and balloon animal craftsmanship.

Rib-tickling entertainment guaranteed.

1pm | Free | Club entrance (1F)

Watermelon-Eating Contest

In that great American tradition of speed-eating contests, the Club stages its own version for Independence Day.

Keep an empty stomach and prepare to gorge on the sweet and refreshing summer fruit.

2:30pm (sign up at the Information Desk from 11am–2pm) | Free | Club entrance (1F)

Independence Day Splash-A-Round

Dive into an afternoon of aquatic thrills.

Water-confident 5- to 12-year-olds are invited to clamber, slip and slide their way over the Sky Pool’s new inflatable obstacle course. Let the fun commence!

3–4pm & 4:30–5:30pm | ¥2,200 (guests: ¥2,750) | Sky Pool (5F) | Limit: five guests per Member

Barbecue Buffet

We couldn’t throw a party for America’s birthday without a feast of traditional holiday favorites.

The mouthwatering spread runs from barbecued classics like chicken legs, ribs and burgers to salads, grilled corn on the cob, hot dogs, veggie skewers and ice cream.

And if all that isn’t quite enough, why not add our surf ’n’ turf special of a half lobster with an 8oz (225g) New York strip steak?

4pm & 6pm | Adults: ¥5,500 | Children: ¥2,800 | Surf ’n’ Turf Special: ¥4,500 | Winter Garden (1F)

Outdoor Beer Garden

As the food trucks drive away, the celebration continues with cold brews outside at the first floor entrance.

Enjoy the blues sounds of Tokyo Mississippi as you sip your beer.

4–8pm | Club entrance (1F)

Music & Light Show

The Club wraps up its all-day celebration with a closing ceremony featuring renditions of the Star-Spangled Banner and Kimigayo by J-pop artist, Chris Hart and a spectacular light show synchronized to a live music performance on the main stage.

The mesmerizing sensory experience culminates in a projection mapping fireworks display on the side of the Club. You won’t want to miss this finale!

7:30–8:15pm | Free | Club entrance (1F)

Independence Day After-Party

Cap off a memorable day with a night to remember.

After taking in the Music & Light Show, party like it’s 1776 at a selection of modern takes on Independence Day classic eats from Gramercy Tavern Executive Chef Michael Anthony. Tokyo favorite, DJ Dwayne Wayne, supplies the sounds for Members and guests to mingle and dance the night away.

9–11pm | ¥3,850; guests: ¥4,620 | All-you-can-drink | 51 East (3F) | Adults only
